sew-in tomorrow, and a new fabric store in town

Just a reminder-- we have our February Sew-in tomorrow! Check out this post for more info. It's not too late to decide to join us!

I might be way behind the times here, but I just discovered Quilt Zone, a fabric store that has been open for about 4 months. I did a bit of shopping there this week and was so excited to find that they are carrying some great modern fabric lines! My haul:

Definitely go and check them out-- they're located on Tudor between C Street and Arctic, in the shopping center behind Tokyo Gardens. You can get the details at their website as well.

Diane Melms show at Artique

I was recently introduced to the work of an amazing local quilter, Diane Melms. She is currently showing her work at Artique through the month of February. If you are able, make sure to check out Chroma at Artique and click on Diane's website to be inspired by her photo galleries of modern quilts. She is amazing!
